  • Tsunami of Herbison in Columbiana Station customer review by Hector Garcia

    - Jun 04, 2023

Went there with my wife several weeks ago and found the tip included in our bill. I asked for it to be removed: I tip better than that, and in this country a tip is a recognition of service by the customer of the server. The manager on duty would not remove the tip from the tab. I was paying for the meal by card and always leave a cash tip. The explanation was they always add the tip when the bill is over $80.00. IF you go, bring cash, tip appropriately, and complain about this tactic. I expect included gratuity in a large party, lot of work, time and, effort by one person to please one large group. But dinner for 2 with 2 drinks, hardly a life altering affair, well except I will probably never return nor provide positive a review of Tsunami's if asked for a recommendation. Pay your staff better, going out to eat is expensive, and there are many restaurants who want our repeat business.
