  • Metro PCS in Bear Creek Plaza customer review by Tara CouplqndWilliqms.

    - May 07, 2021

My boyfriend and I started our new service with metro in November 2020. We were told that the upgrade period had changed from 90 days to 180. That's fine. We WERE told that we would get a FREE upgrade i/we know of course there are limits, but an upgrade is a new device inside months, meaning the newer model of shared phone we chose in the first place or equivalent value. We went infor ljrjpgradeasmy boyfriend's of Revell doesn't even charge anymore, he needs a new phone we were excited and expecting to be treated as valued customers and go beheard. That the repwould i quire a out our current phones and would 'see what he could do in quotes what he could do". But he didn't. He actually just point it in the general area of the phones and gave a description as to where to find the prices for the upgrades. He offered nothing and was very unhelpful. My boyfriend was actually livid about the situation he wanted to yell and stuff but he didn't actually yell however we were very disappointed. That store has had the most helpful reps in my experience in the past that would really just go out of their way to help you with your device if you didn't know anything to give you information about the devices to give their recommendations and their opinions were substantial and good. So the guy that was working that day show no interest and helping us and no interest in providing customer service to us. So we're both disappointed with Metro and with the customer service we were provided we want a free phone just like when we signed up for service and we got the free phone and the free cases and we paid for our service and we paid for an activation fee and we got decent phones that we know about my boyfriend didn't get as good of a phone as I got I definitely recommend the Gmail it's been a solid phone in my experience with these phones the LG rebel not good I had one of those too and I had the same issue after a while it just wouldn't take a charge and it was a piece of crap I thought they're upgraded their newer version would have worked those bugs out. So I did call headquarters and I voice the complaint and that was submitted but I'm writing it here because I have the opportunity to we're going to call two other stores and hope that we get taken care of better we saw the ads for the T-Mobile who are giving away to new and existing customers the 5G phones that's what we want we want a new phone with new technology so if we have to switch we're going to switch.
