I do not go to Northgate anymore. I have been approached several times in the parking lot by people. They mostly are looking for money or another request. It is worrisome and not comfortable in this area we have also had car jacking incidents and shootings. Someone should be in parking lot for security.

Northgate Plaza used to be a wonderful place to go shopping, but not anymore. Security is non-existent and no one feels safe being there.

Northgate Plaza is not a safe place to go. There have been all kinds of bad things happen in their parking lot. Ever since Walmart went in, things have gone downhill even more. They need security in that plaza. Fights, including knives and guns being used, people following shoppers to cars asking for money and even hitting on the car window when the shopper got in their car, shoplifting (Walmart recently installed swinging gates in the entrance ways and I understand why they did it. Right before they put the gates in, I witnessed a man pushing a shopping cart full of things right out the door without stopping to pay.), a couple pulling up behind people's cars blocking them in and wanting money, and people panhandling with a cardboard sign just inside the parking lot at the main entrance are some of the things I've witnessed and heard about (on community forums, in the news, or in conversation) that are happening there. If they don't get security in that parking lot, it's going to end up becoming a place where people will not be willing to risk going. It already has caused people to drive farther to shop elsewhere because one can no longer count on it being safe to be in the Northgate Plaza. I hope the owners take what is going on there seriously and take decisive action to protect the patrons of the stores and make it a secure place to shop. If they don't get good security in there, things will continue to go downhill and I think it will only be a matter of time until someone gets seriously injured or even killed.

Very dissappointed in the way the plaza is being taken care of. Trash blowing around, no one taking care of the parking lot debris. Numerous calls for police there. It appears that the Landlord is certainly absent! Please pay attention to the deteriorating state of a landmark plaza.

I’ve been shopping at Northgate Plaza for over 50 years. While the recent improvements are nice there is Very Serious safety concerns that need to be addressed ! People being panhandled, threatened, harassed etc is not the shopping experience that we need in the Town of Greece. It’s past time that the plaza owner bring in security to the parking lots to ensure the safety of plaza patrons !!

This area has so much potential and I was thrilled when they put revitalization efforts into it. Unfortunately I no longer feel safe there. I have canceled my gym membership after I was present in Walmart during the recent shooting. I now drive out of my way for my peace of mind

Wide waters owned this plaza all the years that it was run down and a mess. I thought maybe with Walmart it might I pry but I guess not. I expect nothing from this landlord as they let it go to hell . The town of Greece needs to step in

Get rid of the bums begging for money, and the dirt bags parking in the handicapped spots and fire lane. It might help to stop bussing them in.

Due to the ever increasing crime, some of which is violent, I am sad and angry to say that my family and i will no longer be shopping at the Northgate Plaza. Unless there is a significant attempt to control the lawlessness that Wal Mart and its tenants facilitate we will strive to have your establishment replaced with those who will. It is and should be your responsibility to provide your patrons with a safe environment. If there is anything that is keeping you from achieving this (the law, politics, or anything else) let the people know, we will stand behind you. Otherwise Wal Mart will not just be a part of the problem, you will indeed be the problem.

All Done with Northgate Plaza.I won"t be going there anymore.I was coming out of the Dollar Tree store today.A woman in her 40"s came up to me.Asking for money.She was apparently on drugs.She started following me to my car.I yelled at her,To get the Hell away from me.She continued following me.I got in my car.Locked my doors.And she was banging on my car window.
