There were a bunch of tiny enclosed malls around long island 1970s/80s anchored by a supermarket usually PathMark and Rickels home center one being the Nassau Mall in Levittown. These tiny Pathmark or Waldbaums malls were in East Meadow, Jericho, Sun Vet, TSSMellville, now only reconfigured as big box stores no internal mall. It's SAD... BUT makes more sense now...
